We measure the bill after the demo ends.

About the publication · Last updated August 29, 2026

RealAICosts is an independent publication built around a working AI content pipeline. We use local and rented GPUs, video and speech models, automation infrastructure, and regional test environments in production. The site exists to answer the question vendor pricing pages cannot: what will this choice actually cost for a finished workload?

Measured

We separate benchmark readings and invoice totals from estimates.

Reproducible

We publish the hardware, model, workload, and failure conditions that matter.

Decisive

Every commercial guide ends with who should buy, who should not, and why.

What we publish

Our scope is production economics: cost per finished video, throughput per GPU, hosted-versus-local break-even points, failure modes that change the bill, and infrastructure costs that survive real use. We do not publish generic “top tools” lists or rewrite vendor feature pages.

How the site is funded

Some vendor links are affiliate links. A qualifying signup or purchase may earn us a commission at no extra cost to the reader. Affiliate eligibility does not decide what we test or what conclusion we publish. Read the complete affiliate disclosure and editorial policy.

Corrections and questions

Benchmarks age and production systems change. If a test condition is unclear, a number looks wrong, or a vendor term has changed, contact us. Material corrections are applied to the article and reflected in its updated date.
